Those Shoes

Well here they are! Amy's shoes!

I posted pics of her shoes last year

so now it is a tradition.

She thinks she has pteradactyl toes..

..they are pretty long, but not reptile like at all.

The bags in the lower left of this picture are pre-made bags that she is selling now.

They are huge, and gorgeous, and I WANT ONE!

Chatted with LILA TUELLER this afternoon while she was drinking a DIET COKE.

I KNOW!!!!! We ARE kindred spirits!

She really is the cutest, sweetest, nicest...

and Santorini is gorgeous in person.

It has much more contrast than in the pictures I've seen.

Ummmm.........had a casual conversation with AMY BUTLER.

I was not nearly as spastic around her this year.

She had on the greatest shoes.

I took a pic of them, but you'll have to wait until I'm at home and can upload them.

She is really funny. We were the only ones in her booth at the time, and she just chatted with us, and we all showed her our new bags

(which, co-incidentally, happened to be made out of her fabrics.)

A new coat of paint!

Today was the Day of Beautification.

I got to spend hours at the Salon

being worked on by the best!!

I had wanted to take my hair a few shades darker,

but my Mom said "No!".

She let me know that I was cuter with Blonde highlights.

Mom is always right..... so, I'm a blonde(ish) again!
and short!! I love it!
So does Lego Hair Man

I got some other beauty treatments.
I feel like an old house with a new paint job!

We leave Wednesday for Quilt Market.
I am insane with glee!
I'm also a little insane with the fear of meeting my fiery death as my plane come crashing to the ground.
The plane didn't crash last quilt market,
but I got air sick.......those little bags really work too.

I have made another cute bag to take with me,
and bought another cute outfit......
don't tell Lego! I told him I was done shopping.

Peas, tweeze, and......

What does your 2 year old eat for breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner?

Mine eats peas.

Bowls and bowls full of peas.

It gives him pea breath.

Not cool.

My 14 year old is getting tired of her bushy eyebrows.

The girl has enough brow for 3 or 4 people.

She could be a brow donor for people that had theirs burned off when they got too close to the campfire.

(no I don't know that from experience)

She has agreed to let me have at 'em with the tweezers.

Mwahhhahhhhahhhaaaaaa!

Darling 11 year old

(yes I said that he was only 10 in a blog a few weeks ago and got in trouble)

Has a pain in his left side.

Dr. Internet thinks it is probably just gas.

Giving him a gas-x and sending him to his room.

Things should "work out" OK.

Thursday NIghts

Thursday night is sewing night at the shop.

We had so much fun sewing, laughing, and trying not to eat Pizza.

It amazes me how much sewing you can get done when the kids are not around!!

I designed and made this pretty last night.

She is SO much better in person.

I have a tiny bit of work to do on the top....that is why there are still pins sticking out.

I think she needs a flower, or something.....what do you think?
