or......
"Lola, what did you do yesterday while the Twins were at Grandmas?"
The boys woke up early yesterday, eager to head off to Grandmas house. The hours until 9:30 am were endless!
"How much longer until grandma comes?"
"Uhhhhhh...the rest of Jacks Big Music Show, all of Little Bill, and then after Moose A. Moose sings a couple of songs." We tell time with Noggins TV schedule.
"Boy's, I want you to be really good at Grandmas house today. She is thinking that she might take you every Wednesday, and I don't want her to change her mind."
"We're ALWAYS good Momma!"
Do those look like the faces of an innocent 4 year old, and 3 year old??? I think not!
Grandma arrived not one second too soon. The twins headed off with glee...the baby was happy that his torture had come to an end early this morning.
I didn't know what to do with myself for a bit. I only had one child at home with me, and he was being put down for nap. I got out a Diet Coke, and Betty C. helped me make cookies! MMMMMmmm, Chocolate goodness!
Easiest coookies ever!!
Cake mix, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup softened butter, 1 tsp. vanilla. Mix and bake at 350 for 10 min.
The boys came home after lunch. I'm not sure what Grandma had been feeding them, but they were full of it...energy that is! Poor Grandma....she didn't look to much worse for the wear!
The "B" part of the story? Betty Crocker, and Tom Brady of course. The number 12?? That is how many cookies I ate before the kids got here. Good times.....good times!
