Grandma's buns were large and fluffy.
Mom's were firm and smooth.
My buns were droopy, deflated, and disappointing.
Dee Dee , my sis, has great buns that we all love. They're golden..........
and sticky!
I remember eating Grandma's coffee cake that she had made for bridge club. It was heavenly! It is funny that after all of these years I can still remember what it tasted like. Mmmmmmm.
My Mom always made sticky buns during the holidays, and when she went to Africa Dee Dee took over.
There was one time that I attempted to make them. They turned out like little, crust, burned, sugar-nut covered rocks.
Can't wait till Christmas!

My buns used to be firm and delicate but these days they tend to be all floppy and spilling out of their cases.

I hate it when things don't turn out like you want! BTW I am sure your buns are fine.
My Mom makes awesome sticky buns, but the ONLY time I tried they were like yours, rock hard and burned tasting. Oh well.....
