Decembers Aprons!

Many may not know this about me, but I have an un-natural obsession with Aprons.
The Kitschy-er the better!
I've been scouring the Net for patterns, and ideas. This is what I came up with!! The Apron above was made from an Indygo Junction pattern. It has cute little Kitchen implements embroidered across the bottom.
This little number is made out of 30's reproduction fabrics. I got the pattern from lululollylegs. She posted a great tutorial, and her blog is really fun to read!

I made the pattern for this one! I wanted an apron that would scream happy...LOUD!
There are days when I don't want to be the Mom, cooking and cleaning. This Apron is for the bad days!

The Red and green cutie is my Christmas Apron. You can't tell from the picture, but the pocket has an adorable little Knotted detail. The ruffled edge is actually tiny pleats!

This last apron is actually the one that I wear the most. It is a short craft apron. It has several pockets for me to keep my sewing stuff in...so it doesn't get lost....because I lose things....or one of the kids lose them for me.

I have MANY more aprons in my head just waiting to jump out!! The two that I have planned for January are going to knock your parka off!!

Hi Lola, so very nice to meet you and thanks so much for dropping by my blog. I'm so glad to see an apron made from my tutorial - it looks great. Thanks for the link! Stay tuned, hopefully I will get my new apron designs up and running soon - just need the kids to go back to school which isn't until the end of Jan!! Happy New Year - may it be a crafty one!

OOOH! I'm an apron junkie, too! I especially love vintage aprons and my collection threatens to take over the house!
